Eleonor is a photographer, model, friend and studio collaborator.
Eleonor and I (Renata) met 10 years ago in Paris, life brought us together by chance since we were together backstage at a presentation, we took a photo together and we never heard from each other again, until she came to Mexico to work, fell in love and decided to stay, that's how we met again and started doing projects together, more than work...we liked the idea of collaborating and joining our ideas, <3
We interviewed her about her journey, her inspiration, and why she chose photography…

SC - Who is Eleonor?
E: I'm a creative and dreamy person. I love to reflect that creativity in all aspects of my life, whether it's embodying characters when I model or act, letting my hands guide me when I make ceramics, or trusting my eyes to immortalize beautiful moments with my camera.
SC-Where are you from?
E:I was born in the north of France, in Lille.
Tell us something about your childhood.
When I was a kid, my favorite thing was opening my costume box, where my mom would leave me any quirky clothes she no longer wore, and organizing photo shoots with my sister or friends. I was in charge of the styling, makeup, and photos based on a concept I invented.
Years later, I'm still doing the same thing.
-Why did you move to Mexico?
My agent at the time sent me to Mexico to renew my modeling portfolio in January 2017. Within a few weeks, I met the man who is now my husband. After a few years between Mexico, France, and Asia, we decided to permanently move to Mexico City.
You could say I moved for love.
-What do you like most about Mexico?
What fascinates me about Mexico are its colors, smells and flavors.
Mexico is a country of enormous wealth, both in its culture and its nature and customs. I feel like you need more than one lifetime to discover it all.
-What is photography for you?
For me, it's an intuitive way to capture fleeting moments, which, due to their beauty, caught my attention.
-What inspires you?
I'm inspired by the small, everyday things that people ignore and the rays of light that magnify even the most ordinary things.
-What do you enjoy most about taking photos?
Photography is a tool for capturing my vision of the world. It also allows me to return to past moments.
