Hello! My name is Renata, I am the founder and creative director of Studio Conchita.
This project began with the need to create my own universe. I was born in Guadalajara, Jalisco, in 1995. My father has been working with clay, glass, and wrought iron for as long as I can remember, so I practically grew up in the universe of design and crafts.
Glassblowing was one of the main activities in my father's workshop. I remember that as a child I was part of his creative processes. I grew up watching him design and materialize pieces and collections, so in my childhood I grew up surrounded by creativity.
I've always loved art and applied arts. At some point along the way, I discovered the art of glassblowing, and the process seemed magical to me!
So I decided to embark on a journey, creating my studio a year ago.
Studio Conchita is my perception of life. They are functional objects, full of beauty and color, with a unique, artisanal background.
